The purpose of this course is to understand elastic wave theory and seismic response anaylsis mainly based on FEM in frequency domain.

This course deals with elastic wave theory and finite element anaylsis.

Seminars with practices and a final report including computer program you made and results.

授業展開(スケジュール)

<1-3> Elastic wave equation
<4-5> Formulation of the finite element analysis
<6-8> Computer programing
<9-11> Eigen value analysis
<11-15> Seismic response analysis

成績評価方法

The followings are the minimum requirements to get a credit:
1. Attendance should be more than 2/3 of classes
2. Should submit the assignments
3. Should submit the final report

成績評価基準

Assignments 50% + Final Report 50% = 100%
Criterion for grading: A=100-80%, B=79-70%, C=69-60%, D<60% (Fail)
